Set
on the edge of a Crater Lake, this tree house lodge grew out of
the forest, at one with nature. The delicate use of local rock,
gum poles, wood, rope, organic furniture and rich textures blend
with forest smells, a crackling fire conjuring a magical atmosphere
to remember. Much effort and imagination went into the creation
of Jacana Safari Lodge, which comes as no surprise when you consider
its prime locality and the visionary mind of the man behind its
creation. Creator, Zahid Alam is also a Director of Inns of Uganda
Ltd, pioneers in the safari industry in Uganda, and the locality
is Queen Elizabeth National Park - Uganda's prime wildlife sanctuary.
